𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Remaining true to its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) provides a variety of fruit-bearing tree seedlings to the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of the Tarlac Police Provincial Office (TPPO) for a tree planting activity aimed at enhancing and diversifying the unit's mini-forest. The donation, which includes species such as Chico, Mabolo, Bignay, and Tamarind, is charged to the TAU Donation Fund.

This initiative strengthens cooperation between TAU and a key community partner, supporting their shared goal of advancing local reforestation and biodiversity efforts while reinforcing relations between the academic and law enforcement sectors.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 |Aiming to strengthen the knowledge of farmers in improving techniques of sweetpotato production, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Rootcrops Research and Training Center (RRTC) partners with the Modesta Garden Center for a two-day training on Strengthening Farmer Capacity for Conventional and Organic Sweetpotato Production in Brgy. Palimbo Caarosipan, Camiling, Tarlac, on 13-14 August.

The activity highlights the goal of achieving high-quality yields through both conventional and organic methods. Farmers and members of the cooperating organization take part in hands-on sessions and expert-led discussions facilitated by faculty members from the TAU - College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF).

The market viability study conducted by researchers from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) stood out as the top performer during the Training on Financial Analysis for Impact Assessment, organized by the Central Luzon Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development Consortium (CLAARRDEC) on 15 August.

The intensive five-day training, held from 11 to 15 August, concluded with TAU’s teamβ€”composed of Dr. Maria Elena T. Caguioa, Dr. Agnes C. Perey, Dr. Sherwin S. Alar, and Ms. Linda Mae A. Fernandez, together with CLSU’s Ms. Katrina Sedilloβ€”earning the Regional Best Paper Award for their innovative project on Sweetpotato Polvoron commercialization.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) welcomes its new students to the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Orientation at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on 16 August.

Aiming to guide students in choosing a track aligned with their skills and interests, the event introduces first-year students from six colleges to NSTP’s three components: Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), designed to initiate community development projects; Literacy Training Service (LTS), which focuses on strengthening educational outreach; and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), which develops youth leaders through military discipline and education.
