𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | To equip the incoming fourth-year students of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) with the strategies for adapting to professional environments, the College of Education (CEd) in partnership with Student Placement Office (SPO) conducts a Pre-Deployment Orientation Seminar (PDOS) at the TAU AgriTourism Function Hall on 14 August.

The event equips TAUians with practical knowledge on workplace values from TAU officials that focused on topics such as Instilling Strong Work Ethics and Professionalism, Mindfulness and Mental Well-Being in the Workplace, and Highlights of Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | As part of its preparations for the start of Academic Year 2025-2026, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) conducts a campus-wide clean-up drive on 14 August, as outlined in Memorandum No. 173 issued by TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson. The activity brings together students, faculty, and staff from all colleges and offices to maintain the University's conducive and sustainable environment. 

The clean-up drive promotes environmental awareness and strengthens community spirit while upholding its commitment to TAU's vision of becoming a globally competitive smart agricultural university through this collective effort.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Advancing sustainable rice production at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), the University President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson enters into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between TAU, TAU-Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC), and Verde Carbon Capture Inc. at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Hall on 19 August.

The agreement focuses on using the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) between the Japanese and Philippine governments that allows the reduction in methane emissions from rice production through Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD).

Upon the release of project funds, the agreement is said to take effect for three years, supporting agricultural practices and benefiting the farming communities in Tarlac.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | 𝐓𝐀𝐔, 𝐂𝐑𝐑𝐔 𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩

Continuing a strong tradition of international academic collaboration since 2019, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Chiang Rai Rajabhat University (CRRU) – Thailand renewed their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) via Zoom on 8 August.

The virtual MOU signing was led by the academic leaders of both institutions: Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President, and Dr. Sornchai Munthaisong, CRRU President.

TAU representatives in the event included members of the External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) Office: Dr. Marianne P. Villaurel, Director; Dr. Sheila R. Lingaya, Assistant Director and Chief for International Mobility; and Ms. Caroline N. Gabis, Chief for Partnership Development.
