The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community takes part in honoring the life and legacy of Andres Bonifacio, the “Father of the Philippine Revolution,” who left a legacy for founding the Katipunan, a revolutionary society that fought for Filipino independence from Spain.  

The courage and unwavering dedication of Bonifacio to the cause of freedom are a reflection of true leadership and love for the country. Together, let us ponder his ideals to further strive for excellence, service, and nation-building in our own respective ways.

Today, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) stands as one with the Province of Tarlac in honoring the memory and legacy of Tarlac's beloved son, Senator Benigno Simeon “Ninoy" Aquino Jr.

His profound declaration, "The Filipino is worth dying for," continues to resonate deeply within our University walls and across the nation he loved. As an institution rooted in the heart of Tarlac, we remember his courage and sacrifice, which became the catalyst for our nation's fight for democracy. Let us all reflect on the values he embodied and strive to live by his example in our pursuit of education, service, and national pride.

Faculty members, researchers, and students of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) are encouraged to join the Sustainable Urban Development Challenge, a sustainability program by Ganpat University (GUNI) in India which aims to seek innovative and adaptable solutions for future-ready and smart cities to be conducted via Hybrid mode.

Focusing on urban development, the program will accept researches focused on Green Mobility and Transport; Energy Efficiency and Microgrids; Affordable and Accessible Healthcare Systems; Urban Education (Food Nutrition); Solid Waste Management; Water Treatment and Recycling; Clean Air/Microforests; Rainwater Harvesting; Security and Surveillance; Disaster Management; Smart Communication and Networking; Governance and Reforms; Art and Culture; and Smart Cities and Infrastructure.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) calls for masteral students of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) to apply in the 2026-1 KOICA Scholarship Program, a joint effort by the Korea International Cooperation Agency together with South Korean universities, namely Ewha Womans University, Hanyang University (HYU), Korea National University of Education (KNUE), Korea University (KU), and Seoul National University (SNU).

The offered master’s degree programs from the listed universities are the following:

EWHA - Master’s degree in Gender Equality

HYU - Master’s degree in Smart-City Management and Technology

KNUE - Master’s degree in Global Education Leadership

KU - Master’s degree in Tax and Fiscal Policy

SNU - Master’s degree in Public Management and Administrative Reform
