To the incredible athletes, coaches, and trainers of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU): as you arrive at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) for the SCUAA III Regional Meet, remember the spirit of the creature that defines our resilience: the Carabao. Much like the mighty water buffalo, you have spent months "tilling the soil" through grueling training and relentless discipline. You arenโt just there to compete; you are there to show the entire Central Luzon the steady, unshakeable strength that comes from the heart of a true Green TAUian.
When the heat of the competition rises between 21 to 27 February, lean into that carabao grit. While others might tire, your spirit thrives under pressure and knows how to navigate the toughest "mud" to reach the goal. Let your determination be as deep as a carabaoโs footprint and your drive as unstoppable as a charge across the plains.ย
To the coaches and trainers, thank you for being the steady hands guiding the plow and shaping our athletes. As you represent the University banner, carry your heads high, knowing that the entire TAU community stands behind you. We are rooting for you to bring home the harvest of victory and prove once again that nothing can outmatch the hard work and heart of a real Champion.

Here is a little trivia about Valentineโs Day: Saint Valentine, a Christian priest in the Roman Empire during the 3rd century was known for performing secret marriages and advocating love and compassion. He defied Emperor Claudius II, a Roman emperor who ruled from 268 to 270 AD who forbade young men from marrying, believing that they were better soldiers without a partner.
Over the years, Saint Valentineโs life choices and sacrifices were celebrated every 14th of February which was the day he was executed.
Meanwhile, red roses, which today we consider a symbol of love, originally became associated with it because they were linked to Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love.
Valentineโs Day is not just about romance in the modern world; it is also about appreciating family, friends, acts of service, and self-care. Whether itโs for a pet, a hobby, sports, the community, or nurturing our own self-worth, our values still align with this spirit of care and connection.
Whatever beliefs, life choices, and love decisions we face, may they be strengthened through collaboration, respect, and compassion.
