𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Another significant milestone is achieved on 11 October by the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focusing on promoting gender equality and inclusiveness within both institutions.

Attended by key officials from both universities, the event commences with remarks from Dr. Anna Ruby Gapasin, PUP Vice President for Research, Extension, and Development, and Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, President of TAU, followed by a lecture of David Eugene Kalinowski Jr. about diversity and the importance of inclusion inside the campus.

The collaboration is spearheaded by PUP's Gender and Development Office (GADO), led by its Director Jerome Permejo, alongside Chief of the Center for Inclusivity and Diversity Mieca Aguinaldo and Chief of the Center for GAD Focal Point System Guillen Nabong. Together with different GAD Focal Point Persons, their goal is to promote a culture that not only recognizes diversity but also advocates for inclusivity across all aspects of university life in both institutions.
The MOU signing demonstrates PUP and TAU's joint commitment to creating a more inclusive and welcoming campus environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
