Started at exactly 8:00 AM to encourage participation among TAU personnel and students, this week's flag-raising is led by the Business and Auxiliary Services (BAS), headed by its Director, Dr. Jay-Ar A. De Mayo.

TAU-BAS serves as the income-generating arm of the university, driving financial sustainability while also serving as a dynamic laboratory for instruction, research, and extension activities. The office is responsible for managing a diverse range of initiatives, including rental activities, catering services, and the marketing of TAU products and merchandise. It also oversees the production of various agricultural and forestry products, such as crops, animals, ornamental plants, forest trees, bamboo, and engineered bamboo products.
