𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | To introduce another potential banner product, the Tarlac Agricultural University, through a partnership between the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) and the Department of Extension and Training (DET), initiates a Training for Mulberry Production for Sericulture at the Farmers’ Training Center on 19-20 September.
Β
Guided by experts from the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) Sericulture Research and Development Institute (SRDI), the participants learn how to select the site, prepare the planting materials, and manage culture for mulberry production on the first day. For the second day, the CAF students and several non-teaching staff take part in the hands-on mulberry plantation establishment at two preselected vegetation areas within TAU.
