𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | To promote sustainable agriculture, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) has entered into a partnership with the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Tarlac Irrigation Management Office (IMO), and Lukung Dam Irrigators Association of Concepcion (LIRAC).
 
As part of the agreement, the NIA will finance and manage the construction and operation of greenhouses and irrigation systems, secure initial cropping, and conduct capability-building activities among others. Meanwhile, the LIRAC will provide the land, supervise daily operations, coordinate with agencies, and cover operational costs while TAU shall take charge of offering technical assistance, market analysis, farm planning, and benchmarking support.
 
To formally commence the MOU, a meeting is held on 21 November to finalize the activities and training programs TAU will provide to LIRAC. The training includes an introduction to greenhouse farming, crop selection, greenhouse operation and maintenance, and market analysis, among others.
