Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) has consistently demonstrated its commitment to preparing competent Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) graduates, as evidenced by its performance in the December 2024 Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Licensure Examination (ABELE).
ย
TAU achieved a first-time takers rating of 58.33%, edging out the national average by a slight margin. Meanwhile, the Universityโ€™s institutional passing rate stood at 50% as it produced eight ABELE 2024 passers. While this yearโ€™s overall result fell slightly below the national average, the performance of first-time takers stood out.

TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson commended the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) - Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (DABE) family for remaining steadfast in its mission to uphold high academic standards and prepare its students for professional work.

โ€œBy addressing areas for improvement and building on its strengths, CET is expected to further enhance its performance in future licensure exams, ensuring that our graduates continue to be relevant and contributory to the sustainable transformation of the agro-industrial sector,โ€ Dr. Salunson said.

The following are the proud CET graduates who overcame the rigors of ABELE 2024:
1. Engr. Clark Gerald Marimla
2. Engr. Jeffrey P. Dela Cruz
3. Engr. Mery Rose G. Nool
4. Engr. Princess D. Santos
5. Engr. Jherico P. Castillo
6. Engr. Maria Lykha D. Repalda
7. Engr. Cara Angela C. Caras
8. Engr. Jaynerale A. Enriquez

Expressing her delight for the positive news, DABE Chair Dr. Catherine DR. Pueyo conveyed her greetings to her new colleagues in the profession while also reassuring those who did not make it that this is just a temporary setback in their long career as ABE professionals. โ€œDonโ€™t lose hope. We will help you get back on your feet,โ€ Dr. Pueyo sincerely consoled the ABE graduates.
