Β
A first for Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Region III recognized the University’s Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) for its exemplary management of the workforce during the CSC Anniversary Celebration in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga on 11 September.
Β
TAU was awarded the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) - Bronze for the years 2017 and 2018. Honored for reaching level 2 in HRM core systems maturity, TAU-HRMO demonstrated quality service in processes involving recruitment, selection, and placement; learning and development; performance management; and rewards and recognition.
Β
Representing TAU was Ms. Gina V. Duran, former chief of HRMO, who shared that this award is a proof of the collective effort of TAU-HRMO personnel, especially the staff who worked hard day and night to ensure that TAU employees’ welfare remains a top priority.
Β
β€œIt’s always been our commitment to serve our colleagues with respect and compassion. This acknowledgment is an assurance that, although it is a long way to go before we can say that our system is impeccable, we are on the right track in terms of fostering an efficient, inclusive, and collaborative work environment,” Ms. Duran underscored.
Β
Designed to β€œempower government agencies by developing their human resource management competencies, systems, and practices toward HR excellence,” the PRIME-HRM is a product of the harmonization and enhancement of the CSC Agency Accreditation Program (CSCAAP) and the Personnel Management Assessment and Assistance Program (PMAAP).
