The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), led by its Dean, Dr. Lavina Gracia M. Ramirez, organized a three-day celebration of its long-held advocacy on animal welfare through seminars and games from 26 to 28 February.
Celebrating the bond between humans and animals, the event kicked off with a parade of various pets, followed by a pet show led by the Veterinary Student Achievers’ Society (VSAS) TAU Chapter at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center. Throughout the first day, CVM students engaged in informative seminars on aquaculture and emerging trends in veterinary medicine, hands-on workshops, and traditional games like “Laro ng Lahi,” to name a few.

Upon honoring the national symbols led by the College of Education (CEd) - Laboratory School (LS), Dr. Salunson accompanied by the four vice presidents lauds The Golden Harvest (GH) – the official tertiary student publication of the University – for the awards that they brought home during the 23rd Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC III), held from 5-7 February in Arayat, Pampanga.
Thereafter, Dr. Emerson B. Cuzzamu, Director of the TAU Sports Development Office, proudly announces the impressive awards which the student-athletes won from the recently concluded State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) III Regional Games held in Magalang, Pampanga.

Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, President of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Mr. Abner P. Mañebog Jr., Technical Staff for International Mobility of TAU’s External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) joined fellow University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) members from Philippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) held on February 26, 2025 at the CHED Auditorium, UP Campus Diliman, Quezon City.
The annual conference aimed to bring together academic leaders and international relations officers for an opportunity to exhibit various PHEIs’ accomplishments in the academe, particularly in internationalization (IZN) efforts, curricular offerings and strategies for providing high-quality education in the country.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Forty-eight faculty members of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) take their oath before members of the University Administrative Council at the Administration Building Atrium on 3 March. Among them, eleven are promoted to permanent positions, while thirty-seven transition from contract-of-service roles to temporary status.
TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson congratulates the newly promoted members of the teaching force and encourages them to remain steadfast in their commitment to upholding the highest standards of instruction, research, and extension.
