𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | In response to Resolution No. 6, Series of 2024 passed by the Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council (RAFC), the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), in collaboration with the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center III (ATI-RTC), conducts the training-workshop titled β€œTraining on Climate Change Resilient Technologies for Rice in the Province of Tarlac” for the first batch of rice farmers and agricultural extension workers in the province. The event is held at the Bamboo Training Center (BTC) from 29 to 31 July.

Dr. Amy Lizbeth J. Rico, Associate Professor V from TAU, and Ms. Justine Mallorca Abaco, Training Specialist from ATI-RTC III, lead the discussion alongside TAU faculty members who contribute their technical expertise on addressing climate change impacts in agriculture. Topics include climate-resilient rice production technologies, adaptive rice varieties, water-saving strategies for rice cultivation, integrated and diversified farming systems, nutrient recycling, cost-efficient production methods, and the application of greenhouse technologies as adaptive responses to changing climatic conditions.
