Students of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) are invited to join the Harmony in Balance - Summer Camp 2025 organized by the Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (UNDIKSHA) in Bali, Indonesia featuring two sessions from 23 June to 11 July 2025 (Session 1) and 11-17 August (Session 2).

Session 1 will require a program fee of USD 650 (approximately Php 37,200.00) which includes cultural activities such as cooking class, learning to make Batik, experience the Balinese Dance and Dolphin sightseeing.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Facilitating discussions and refining systems aimed at uplifting Indigenous People (IP) Communities  through innovative and sustainable solutions, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD), in coordination with Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Department of Extension and Training (DET), hosts a workshop on the finalization of project proposals at the Farmers’ Training Center (FTC) on 11 April.

Participants from state universities and colleges (SUCs) and related regional organizations across Northern and Central Luzon actively present and upgrade their proposed projects, ensuring alignment with sustainable development goals (SDGs) and national and regional development agenda and integration of science and technology into livelihood programs. 

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Today, 14 April, marks the first day of asynchronous online classes and the observance of Holy Week. As a result, only University officials, employees, and on-the-job trainees (OJT) assemble for this week’s flag-raising ceremony, led by the Office of the President and the College of Engineering and Technology in front of the Learning Resource Center.

In his message, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson emphasizes forgiveness, echoing the spirit of the Lenten Season and Pope Francis’ call for global solidarity.

In observance of the Holy Week, the University will shift to asynchronous/ online classes from 14-16 April (Monday to Wednesday). Faculty members are advised to conduct lessons via the official Learning Management System (LMS) or other suitable virtual platforms, ensuring academic continuity while respecting the solemnity of the season. 

Learning activities should be designed with consideration for the reflective nature of this period. Please be advised that other University operations will continue during the aforementioned dates. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

CAPTURED IN LENS | To strengthen disaster preparedness and promote gender-responsive emergency communication, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) led by the National Service Training Program (NSTP) in collaboration with the Gender and Development (GAD) office and the Student Placement Office (SPO) conducts a training on radio land mobile and government radio operations at the TAU AgriTourism Hostel Function Hall, 11 April.

During the event, the participants engage in a meaningful discussion and training led by Engr. Mary Jane F. Del Rosario, a Professional Electronics Engineer from the Enforcement and Operation Division of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) Region III.
