Steadfast to strategize the agricultural sector in the region, the Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office III (DA-RFO3) under the supervision of Dr. Eduardo L. Lapuz, Jr. partners with Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) for the Central Luzon Agriculture and Fisheries Resources, Research, and Extension for Development Network (CLAAFRREDN) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing held at the Office of the University President - Conference room on January 27, 2025.
 
Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President along with Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research, Extension and Training (VPRET); and Dr. Irene M. Adion, OIC-Regional Technical Director for Research, Regulations and Integrated Laboratory Service of the DA-RFO4s, led the said ceremonial signing.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Marking a significant milestone in their academic journey, the students of the College of Business and Management (CBM) at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) proudly commenced their Pinning Ceremony at the Gilberto O. Teodoro (GOT) Multipurpose Hall yesterday, January 31.
 
With the theme “Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders: Upholding Excellence and Integrity in Business and Management,” the ceremony represented not just the years of the CBM students' hard work and determination, but also the start of their new chapter.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Consistently advancing agricultural and extension projects, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) Animal Science Department concludes a 10-day hands-on training for the students undergoing work-immersion from the Birbira High School (BHS) at the Farmers Training Center (FTC), 31 January.
 
A total of 33 senior high school students under the Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) program of BHS completes a collaborative session facilitated by Instructors from CAF and Dr. John Russel F. Sadio, Veterinarian II from the Business and Auxiliary Services. These sessions are also integrated with hands-on activities, allowing learners to experience agricultural practices and apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞, 𝐓𝐀𝐔 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠
 
In an effort to expand its academic programs and improve institutional processes, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) gathered experts from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) Center for Governance in this years strategic formulation sessions titled “Foresight-based Strategic Planning for TAU (2025-2035)” held at the DAP Conference Center, Tagaytay. The activity was divided into two components including Component C: Strategic Plan Formulation on 7-10 January and Component D-1: Clean-up Sessions for Strategic Plan Draft on 22-24 January.
 
The first session was facilitated by DAP experts, guiding TAU officials in setting the performance targets. Mr. Alvin P. Principe, Director of the Center for Governance - Operations Management Office (CFG-OMO) in DAP, focused on the discussions in revisiting the TAU Mission, Vision and Core Value Statements and strategy framework, ensuring they reflect the university's evolving priorities. It was then followed with ideas and a structured approach from Mr. Trygve A. Bolante, former Vice President for Corporate Affairs in DAP, in identifying performance measures and setting performance targets assisted by Ms. Queen S. Torres, Module Coordinator/Project Assistant at the CFG-OMO, DAP.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Newly elected officials of the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) - Parents Faculty Association (PFA), Inc. take their oath of office before the University President - Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Hall, 31 January.
 
During the ceremonial oath taking, CET Dean - Dr. Ruben T. Parazo, thanks everyone for their collective efforts in helping the College in implementing projects especially in providing interventions to provide higher passing rate in board exams and support to the on-the-job training.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Geared towards advancing academic policies and initiatives, the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHEdRO III) led by its Regional Director Dr. Lora L. Yusi and various officials from all State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Central Luzon converge at the Best Western Plus Metro Clark in Angeles City on 30 January.
 
Pursuing progress in education at the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), the University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, together with the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA) Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, and the Director of Planning and Development Office (PDO) Dr. Eugene S. Valeriano, engages in an executive session with other SUC leaders and CHED officials in addressing the processes and future innovations of SUCs in Region III.
