This is a significant milestone in TAUβs plan to establish its own IP center that will ignite new hope to the lives of the indigenous people in Tarlac Province. This initiative of creating an IP Center at TAU resonates deeply with the Commission on Higher Education's (CHED) heed for universities "to foster understanding and appreciation of IP culture."

Through the efforts of Tarlac Agricultural Universityβs (TAU) Department of Research and Development (DRD), 15 Research and Development (RND) projects have been subjected for evaluation by seasoned external researchers during the 35th Annual Agency In-House Review of Completed and Ongoing Research and Development Projects at the Farmersβ Training Center, 2 August.

The Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) from Digos City, Davao del Sur visited Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) on 31 July to benchmark TAUβs best practices and earn insights about the Universityβs participation in various world reputable university rankings.

The delegation consisted of twenty (20) DSSC officials was able to learn TAUβs operation to participate in various university rankings in 2024 such as the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking where TAU garnered its 801-1000th rank, the World University Ranking for Innovation (WURI) β Global Top 300 Innovative Universities at 110th place, and the 2023 UI Greenmetric World University Ranking at 477th among others.

Hosted by the Rootcrops Research and Training Center (RRTC), the weekly flag-hoisting ceremony now begins at 8:00 a.m. every Monday. At the said gathering, birthday celebrators for the month of August are called on at the stage for a blessing initiated by Dr. Danilo N. Oficiar, Officer-in-Charge at the Office of the Student Services and Development (OSSD).
