To look back and express their collective appreciation of Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) accomplishments since its conversion to a full-fledged University in 2016, administrators, faculty and non-teaching staff, former employees, and guests converge at Gilberto O. Teodoro Multi-Purpose Center on 10 May for the Convocation Program.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 |Alumni Day brings back graduates to TAU anew; rekindles spirit of unity, legacy

The Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) hosted an Alumni Day, 9 May, as part of the University’s 8th Charter Anniversary celebration. 

Held on the 4th day of the weeklong festivity, the Alumni Day served as a testament to the sustaining spirit of camaraderie and the profound impact the University has on its graduates.

Bringing together a number of graduates from various batches, the event commenced with a motorcade that traversed from TAU's main gate through the towns of Santa Ignacia, Camiling, San Clemente, and Mayantoc, mirroring the University's symbolic journey in the enduring impact across communities.

Data Privacy 

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 |  The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) hosts a seminar-workshop on the Data Privacy Act of 2012: Safeguarding Employee and Employer Information at the TAU Agri-Tourism Hostel Function Hall, 3 May.

The Records Management Unit (RMU), headed by its Chief, Ms. Zenaida C. Sahagun, convenes representatives from different units/offices for a morning seminar and an afternoon discussion followed by a workshop session to educate TAU employees on the importance of safeguarding the information for both employee and employer as embodied in Republic Act 10173, a landmark legislation in the Philippines that mandates the protection of personal data collected, processed, and stored by government and private entities.  This event provides invaluable insights into the significance of protecting personal and sensitive data in today’s digital age.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The officers of Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) host this week’s flag-raising ceremony conducted in front of the Learning Resource Center. Currently headed by Mr. Julius C. Consul from the External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) office, NASA has 147 regular members.

𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 | TAU-DRD stages 1st research congress; seeks to foster research culture, empower student-innovators

Aiming to set up an avenue to present the different research studies conducted by students, the Department of Research and Development (DRD) of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) organized the first-ever Student Research Congress at the Student and Alumni Center Amphitheater on 3 May.

Anchored on the theme, "Pioneering Progress: Unveiling Student Innovation Through Research," the research congress, which was participated in by student presenters, student research leaders, advisers, and faculty researchers from the six colleges of the University,  intended to showcase undergraduate research, foster cross-disciplinary connections, and facilitate presentation, analysis, and critique of findings, encouraging interaction and improvement across various fields and backgrounds.
