The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community celebrates the outstanding success of its student-journalists who proudly represented the Municipality of Camiling at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held at Paniqui North Central Elementary School from 17 to 19 December 2025.

Delegates from the TAU Laboratory School’s (LS) publication, The Tillers, excelled across both individual and group categories, securing top placements and delivering remarkable performances. These achievements earned several LSians qualification for the upcoming Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC).

The University commends all participants and their coaches for their talent, discipline, and thorough preparation. Their accomplishments bring pride and honor to TAU LS and the entire town of Camiling. Likewise, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson extends his full support and encouragement to the RSPC qualifiers as they prepare to compete with fellow scribes and artists across Central Luzon.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐔𝐅𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥

In a pivotal meeting at the Office of the University President (OUP) on 5 January, the newly elected leadership of the United Faculty Alliance of Tarlac Agricultural University (UFA–TAU) Inc. for the 2026–2027 term conducts a formal courtesy visit to TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson. The new slate of officers is led by UFA-TAU President Dr. Rene G. Nanit.

The central focus of the dialogue is the advancement of the immediate welfare of the faculty body, with discussions zeroing in on critical concerns such as equitable workloads, transparent hiring and promotion processes, and enhanced benefits. This inaugural engagement under the new leadership underscores a proactive commitment to collaborative governance and marks the beginning of a concerted effort to address the core needs of the University’s teaching force.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠-𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) first flag ceremony of 2026 unfolds on 5 January in front of the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center. The University community stands at attention as the flag ascends, and as the final notes of the TAU Hymn fade, the series of announcements begins.

The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) opens the program by honoring the January birthday celebrators with greetings and a prayer. Dr. Ruben A. Parazo, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), then steps forward to share encouraging news: the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Licensure Examination (ABELE) results surpass both TAU’s previous performances and the national passing rate.

This achievement is complemented by Dr. Claire Anne A. Olivares, Dean of the College of Education (CEd), who reports that the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) performance exceeds the national benchmark. She also discloses CEd’s distinction as a Top 8 Teacher Education Institution (TEI) for the Elementary level.

Meanwhile, the TAU Laboratory School’s official student publication, The Tillers, presents the successful outcomes of the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC), recognizing the achievements of its young campus journalists. A note of urgency follows as Mr. Dante A. Revamonte, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Finance, reminds employees that the deadline for reimbursement requests and all other claims is set on 6 January. Ms. Maria Regina M. Pablo, Director of Admission and Registration Services (ARS), then outlines the road ahead by detailing the schedule of upcoming academic activities, with particular emphasis on enrollment dates.

To conclude the ceremony, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson delivers an inspirational message for the new year. He speaks of gratitude, collaboration, and a shared mission to write new stories for the next generation. He calls for unity, urging everyone to uplift one another and move beyond zero-sum thinking.
