𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 | 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓-𝐍𝐑𝐂𝐏, 𝐓𝐀𝐔 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝟓 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐞

In a historic first, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) co-hosted the much-anticipated return of iShare: Stories of Inspiration, which rolled out its fifth season, 16 April. The season opener was broadcast live from the TAU Student and Alumni Center Amphitheater, marking a landmark collaboration between the University and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP).

The premiere showcased two distinguished "science heroes": Dr. Eufrocina P. Atabay from the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) and Dr. Josefina Tamayo Dizon from the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). Both are esteemed Achievement Awardees of the DOST-NRCP.

Through a talk show format facilitated by Ms. Charmaine Lace P. Pablo of the College of Business and Management (CBM), the audience witnessed the speakers' remarkable journeys, personal struggles, and ultimate successes in scientific research. 

The program featured several engaging segments, including The Issue, iWonder, The Breakthrough, Lab in Focus!, Whose Job is it Anyway?, Lab Life!, and iIMPACT, all designed to bridge the gap between science and the real-world challenges faced by the researchers and common folks.

Coordinated by the External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) office, in collaboration with the various colleges and the Laboratory School (LS), the event also saw active participation from online viewers.

The hybrid event followed a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held yesterday at the Office of the University President Conference Hall, formalizing the partnership between TAU and DOST-NRCP. 

The agreement covers the joint implementation of the Research Information Translation and Communication (RITAC) Program, aimed at promoting the dissemination and utilization of research findings among policymakers, industry professionals, students, and the general public.
