Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) exchange students from the Universitas Pancasakti (UPS) Tegal, Indonesia, toured the host province, Tarlac, known as the โ€œMelting Pot of Central Luzonโ€ as part of the International Credit Transfer Program on 12 December 2025.

The cultural trip began at the Diwa ng Tarlac where the exchange students were captivated by the art gallery and the showcased local products. They continued to explore the newly renovated Carlos P. Romulo Library and tried the local street foods at Mercato embracing the authentic flavors of the city. As the evening approached, the group visited the Plaza and concluded the day with an early dinner.

The students were accompanied by the staff of the External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) office, namely Mr. Jayson Elenzano, Mr. Mark Aldwin Agbayani, and Ms. Ann Xylih Calma.ย ย

The students carried home a profound appreciation for the Philippines and a collection of memories that bridged the gap between the two cultures.
