The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community is erupting in celebration as it applauds the exceptional performance of the graduates of College of Engineering and Technology (CET) Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (DABE) in the recent December 2025 Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Licensure Examinations (ABELE). TAU not only delivered a strong overall passing rate but also significantly surpassed the national average and its 2024 feat.
Official results reveal that TAU achieved an impressive 70.59% overall passing rate, with 12 new engineers emerging from 17 examinees. This marks a substantial lead over the 59.14% national overall passing rate.
A closer look at the data highlights the strength of TAUโs academic preparation. First-time takers from the University passed at a rate of 71.43%, outperforming the national first-taker passing rate of 66.97%. Repeaters also demonstrated remarkable resilience and improvement, securing a 66.67% passing rate.
"We are immensely proud of its new Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers," TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson said. "These outstanding results are a reflection of the relentless hard work and sacrifices of our students, the enduring commitment of our faculty and staff, and the rigorous quality of our BSABE program. Their success is our success," he continued.
In a statement, CET Dean Dr. Ruben A. Parazzo congratulated the new professionals, stating their licensure success demonstrated commendable determination and had brought pride to their families, TAU, and CET. He also extended heartfelt commendation to the DABE mentors and ACE coordinators for their instrumental guidance, and acknowledged the University administrators for their steadfast support in fostering a thriving academic environment.
โThis milestone is only the beginning of greater opportunities ahead. May you continue to uphold the values of service, integrity, and professionalism as you embark on your respective careers,โ the CET Dean shared.
