The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) – Office of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) proudly presents the winners of the competitions held during the ASEAN Festival 2025, celebrated with the theme, “A Celebration of Unity, Inclusivity, and Sustainable Futures.”

This year’s festival competitions—ASEAN Booth Design, ASEAN Cuisine, and ASEAN Attire—took place at the TAU Amphitheater, Student and Alumni Center, on 28 August.

Through the ASEAN Festival 2025, the six colleges and the Laboratory School of TAU displayed remarkable artistry and ingenuity, serving as an essential platform where students highlighted the vibrancy and cultural richness of the Southeast Asian nations they represented.

Today, 31 August, we are delighted to celebrate the birthday of our esteemed Director of the Alumni Relations Office, Ms. Karen A. Mariano.

In her vital role, she strengthens the enduring bond between the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and its graduates, drawing from her distinguished service as the former Principal of the TAU Laboratory School (LS) and her dedicated years as a faculty member in the College of Education (CEd).

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | University officials and personnel participate in a comprehensive orientation at the AgriTourism Hostel Function Hall on 19 August, focusing on the critical steps for FY 2026 procurement planning and budget preparation. The session delivers essential training on the development of the Work and Financial Plan (WFP) and Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP), ensuring that all acquisitions are strategically aligned with TAU’s priorities and financial allotments.

Mr. Eduardo D. Cabrera II, Chief of the Procurement Management Unit, leads the discussion on the standard procurement process and its practical application. At the same time, Mr. Dante A. Revamonte, Chief Administrative Officer for Financial Services, presents an important update on the implications of the new procurement law, ensuring that all planning activities comply with the latest legal frameworks and regulatory standards.

CAPTURED IN LENS | The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) holds its flag-raising ceremony in front of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) on 26 August, with the Budgeting Unit serving as host. Parallel ceremonies also take place in different areas of the University to signify the resumption of work after the long weekend.

In his message, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson underscores the importance of returning with renewed spirit and dedication to public service. He further urges the University community to observe austerity measures as a defining step toward maintaining responsible and sustainable operations.
