The University of the Philippine - Los Baños (UPLB), national leader in agricultural instruction, research, and extension, inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), De La Salle University - Dasmariñas, Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology, Pampanga State Agricultural University, and Batanes State College on 14 June.

By showcasing its BS Agriculture program, a Commission on Higher Education (CHED)-designated Center of Development (COD), the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) through the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) and External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) sought the approval of Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) validators from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on 13-14 June.

Despite a significant increase in the number of participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the 2023 edition of Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, TAU managed to secure its 601-800 rank which it has been holding since its debut in 2021.

In a bid to strengthen the bilateral relations between Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and her college, Dr. Eva Handriyantini, Rector of Sekolah Tinggi Informatika dan Komputer Indonesia (STIKI) Malang, met with TAU officials on 26 May.

Powered by Innovation Laboratory (iLab) and ignited by the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) Bayanihan COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) project, the External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) initiated the TAU (Tarlac Agricultural University) CONNECT (Converging Networked-learning Environments through Communication Technologies) which will be offered in the first semester of academic year 2023-2024.

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) leapfrogged 10 places in the Student Mobility and Openness category of the 2023 edition of World Universities with Real Impact (WURI) after it lodged in the 22nd place, outperforming all colleges and universities in the Philippines.
