𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍 | To commemorate the founding of Tarlac Province, pursuant to Proclamation 109, a Special Non-Working Holiday is declared for the whole province on 28 May.

In line with this, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community joins the observance of the “Araw ng Lalawigang Tarlac” to foster solidarity and promote the province’s proud history and rich cultural heritage. Hence, there will be no office transactions and activities tomorrow. Regular operations will resume on 29 May, Thursday.

The sun rises over Aurora as Team Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) continues its SCUFAR III Festival journey, 22 May, with a morning of high-energy fun games! 

Bodies bend backward in Limbo Rock, leap over Chinese Garter, dodge rapid throws in Dodgeball, and fuse strength in a fierce Tug of War. Cheers and sand fly under the Baler sky, blending laughter with friendly rivalry. By noon, the action shifts to the Amazing Race at Camp Victor Ravina, where TAU’s squad of ten tackles 12 adrenaline-packed stations. They conquer seven physical challenges and outwit five brain-teasing tasks. With grit and teamwork, they sprint, solve, and strategize their way to an impressive Top 5-finish!

At every corner, tradition and modernity collide: dama pieces shuffle beside Game of the Generals strategists while chessboards ignite silent wars and Mobile Legends screens glow with high-intensity energy.

Today, 25 May, we honor and celebrate the pioneering and inspirational leadership of Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) Chairperson J. Prospero "Popoy" De Vera III on the occasion of his birthday. 

His strategic approaches, far-reaching vision, and dedicated service have greatly contributed to Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) internationalization and sustainability efforts, as well as the continuous improvement of its academic, research, and extension programs.

We extend our collective wishes for his continued good health, lasting fulfillment, and profound impact and influence as he furthers his remarkable legacy of transforming Philippine higher education, one Filipino student at a time.
