
𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | 𝐃𝐒𝐖𝐃, 𝐓𝐀𝐔 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧
As part of the Regional Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on 19 May in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 3 and Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) are teaming up to enhance the implementation of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) initiative in Region 3.
The MOA was formalized by Dir. Armont C. Pecina, Assistant Regional Director for Operations, on behalf of DSWD Field Office 3 Regional Director Venus F. Rebuldela, while Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research Extension and Training (VPRET) and Dr. Agnes C. Perey, Director for Extension and Training, represented TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon D.C. Salunson.
Said agreement outlines a collaborative effort of DSWD and TAU to alleviate poverty and empower marginalized communities through capacity-building, employment facilitation, and microenterprise support.
