In celebration of the 2024 National Book Week, with the theme, " 𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑏𝑎𝑠𝑎 𝑀𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑝, 𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑑𝑖𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑔", the TAU Library invites all TAU students to participate in our exciting Contests! This is your chance to showcase your creativity, passion for reading, and love for libraries.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | PRC mints 16 new TAUian vets

In a press release, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 16 TAU alumni have passed the Veterinarian Licensure Examination (VLE) 2024, recording a 17.39 percent passing rate—a significant increase from last year’s rating which stood at only 3.33 percent.

The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) Dean Dr. Lavina Gracia M. Ramirez commended the passers for acing the VLE 2024. “On behalf of your CVM family, with pride and admiration, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the newly-licensed veterinarians. We know that it has not been easy because you battled hard but emerged victorious,” Dr. Ramirez shared.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | To provide an understanding of the basic economic and financial concepts, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), in collaboration with the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), spearheads an Economic and Financial Literacy Week at the TAU AgriTourism Function Hall, 11 November.
 
This year’s Central Luzon Forum gathers faculty and students from the TAU - College of Business and Management (CBM) and features plenary sessions from speakers in various agencies and organizations like Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) North Luzon, Lord Cares Foundation, and Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX) - Tarlac State University (TSU) Chapter.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson has been sworn in as the new President of Association of State Colleges and Universities - Solid North (ASCU-SN), 11 November, after serving as the organization’s second highest official since his induction at Isabela State University on 2 July 2024.
 
Dr. Salunson takes his oath of office before Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, former president of both ASCU-SN and Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), who now serves as a commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd).

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) Civic Welfare and Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training Service (LTS) units under the National Service Training Program (NSTP), take the lead on the second day of "Waste Warriors," a university-wide waste management initiative, during the ongoing University Intramurals, 7 November.
 
Mr. Romeo N. Nazaire Jr. and Ms. Dancel M. Cabintoy, CWTS and LTS coordinators under the supervision of the NSTP Director, Dr. Joven D. Valdez, instruct their students to act as the “Waste Warriors” during the three-day event.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The University Intramurals 2024 with the theme “Now on Track: Discovering TAU Athletes, Upholding the Future of Sports and Culture” finally opens as athletes from the six colleges of the University dive into excitement and compete in 15 sporting events, 6 November.
 
Meanwhile, a silent and dedicated army of the University’s Emergency and Incident Management Team (EMT/IMT), the TAU Emergency Responders, attends to 18 athletes who needed first aid, demonstrating the group’s readiness and commitment to the wellbeing of the TAU community. Such is strictly coordinated under the initiative of the University Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (UDRRM) Team’s Incident Command System (ICS).
