𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) transfers fabrication equipment worth a total of ₱3.7 million to Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), 15 October, eyeing to foster instruction, hands-on farm shop activities and farm machinery-related activities of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) students from the University's College of Engineering and Technology (CET).
 
The transferred metal fabrication equipment, which includes a hydraulic pipe bender, hydraulic press brake, hydraulic shearing machine, mechanical profile sheet roller/bender, and shaping machine, will empower ABE faculty and students to engage in hands-on learning and drive impactful research, specifically for the subjects Materials and Processes for ABE, AB Machinery, and Mechanization and Machine Design for AB Production.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Office of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) launches this year’s 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐃𝐆𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩. The application for students as participants and faculty members as lecturers/mentors are now open for TAU and Philippine higher education institutions (PHEIs) and partnered foreign universities. The program will be held at TAU, Camiling, Tarlac on December 9 to 14, 2024.
For the participants of the 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐃𝐆𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩, TAU offers waived program fee; free room accommodations, meals and snacks as well as service vehicle from and to the airport. Students and lecturers overseas shall cover the airfare expenses.

Acclaimed for “bringing immense pride and honor to the Region for consistently producing topnotchers in the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) conducted between January 2024 and October 2024,” Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) was acknowledged by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHEdRO III) during the Executive Summit for SUC Presidents and Key Officials at Best Western Metro Clark in Angeles City on 15 October.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Another significant milestone is achieved on 11 October by the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focusing on promoting gender equality and inclusiveness within both institutions.
 
Attended by key officials from both universities, the event commences with remarks from Dr. Anna Ruby Gapasin, PUP Vice President for Research, Extension, and Development, and Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, President of TAU, followed by a lecture of David Eugene Kalinowski Jr. about diversity and the importance of inclusion inside the campus.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) holds a simultaneous flag hoisting ceremony in various areas within the campus, 14 October.
 
The administrative staff of the University as well as students, staff and faculty members from the College of Business and Management (CBM) gather in front of the Learning Resource Center, while the College of Agriculture (CAF) community flock together in front of CAF Building for the flag raising. In addition, the members of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) community assemble themselves in front of CAS Bldg while faculty members, non-academic staff and students from College of Engineering and Technology (CET), together with the College of Education (CEd), College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and the Laboratory School, have their flag-raising at the LS grounds. The University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, along with the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VP-ASA) Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, grace the flag-raising event at the said venue.
