At the same time, CVMโ€™s service to the community was extended through the CC Spay and Neuter Drive, which was a reflection of the collegeโ€™s commitment to animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. This event demonstrated the practical application of veterinary medicine skills in serving the community.ย

Afternoon activities were filled with more excitement as the VET Olympics continued at the covered court. The participants were still very much involved, embodying the theme of unity and inclusivity in veterinary medicine.ย

In a message of support, University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson commended the CVM community on their active involvement in the event:ย

โ€œThe success of this celebration reflects not only your passion for veterinary medicine but also your commitment to excellence, service, and unity. May this week continue to inspire you to become compassionate and competent professionals who will shape the future of animal health and welfare.โ€

Meanwhile, the Supreme Student Council (SSC) President and a 5th Year DVM student, Ms. Sean Nicole P. Chico, also expressed her appreciation and shared her reflections on the success of the celebration.

โ€œIโ€™m really happy to see how successful VetMed Week 2026 was. The energy and teamwork of the CVM community made it even more meaningful, as we balance academics with advocating for animals.
