Notching their first win of the season, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Buffalos stamped their ticket to the quarterfinals of the United Central Luzon Athletic Association (UCLAA) Season 10, overpowering the National University (NU) Clark Bulldogs, 74-51, at the Angeles University Foundation (AUF) Sports and Cultural Center, 20 September.ย 

The victory marked a strong comeback after a challenging start to the season, which saw losses to the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) Phoenix, the AUF Great Danes, and a tough 101-80 defeat against the St. Nicolas College of Business and Technology (SNBCT) Hoplites on 21 September.

The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) has commenced the virtual accreditation survey for Tarlac Agricultural Universityโ€™s (TAU) Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) program today, 25 September.

This survey visit represents a crucial step for the University as the BSABE program seeks to attain Level IV Phase 2, Cycle 2 accreditation, one of the highest levels of academic quality recognition awarded by AACCUP, signifying a program of exceptional standards.

During the online opening program, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon D.C. Salunson formally welcomed the accrediting team. He emphasized the value of external perspectives, stating that expert insights would serve as a definitive blueprint for the University's continued pursuit of excellence in agricultural and biosystems education.

In line with the initiative of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) through the Gender and Development Office, National Service Training Program (NSTP), and University Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Unit (UDRRM), officials gathered at the Office of the University President (OUP) Conference Hall on 23 September for the Gender-Sensitive Building and Fire Safety Inspection.

Present at the event was Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, University President, who acknowledged the collaborative efforts between TAU, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Camiling, the Camiling Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and external partners in upholding safety standards. Also in attendance was Dr. Eugene S. Valeriano, Director of Planning and Development and Chair of the Building Inspection Committee, who emphasized the teamโ€™s continuing efforts to ensure that all university facilities comply with safety standards. They were joined by members of the TAU Safety Inspection Committee, together with LGU officials.

Faculty members from the College of Agriculture and Forestry of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) bagged First Place Best Poster Category at the 6th International Conference on Education, Environment, and Agriculture (ICEEA), held at Universitas Warmadewa (UNWAR) in Bali, Indonesia, on September 18-19, 2025.

The team is composed of Mr. Julius Rae R. Allam, Ms. Maidas L. Anson, Ms. Minda M. Mondiguing, and Ms. Mileatte P. Omaney. During the international presentation, Mr. Allam represented the team by presenting their research study titled โ€œConservation of Order Lepidopteran (Butterfly) in Sitio Calao, San Jose, Tarlac - Forest Reserve.โ€

After sessions of preliminary common modules, the National Service Training Program (NSTP) of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) officially commences the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) course through a formal opening ceremony at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center, 20 September.ย 

The said kickoff is honored by the Guest of Honor and Speaker Col. Leonardo A. Soratos, Director for 302 CDC, 3RCDG, RESCOM, PA, and Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training (VPRET), who represents TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson.
