Reinforcing its commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), through its Gender and Development (GAD) Office, has formally opened a dedicated lactation room at the Learning Resource Center (LRC) Building on 4 August.

The establishment of this facility is part of the GAD Office’s financial work plan and budget, aimed at maximizing institutional mechanisms that promote inclusive, safe, and respectful environments, affirming the dignity and welfare of women.

“This facility is designed to help mothers balance their responsibilities while also caring for their babies' needs, creating an environment that values both family and community,” said Dr. Ma. Theresa B. Nardo, GAD Director.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | In response to Resolution No. 6, Series of 2024 passed by the Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council (RAFC), the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), in collaboration with the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center III (ATI-RTC), conducts the training-workshop titled “Training on Climate Change Resilient Technologies for Rice in the Province of Tarlac” for the first batch of rice farmers and agricultural extension workers in the province. The event is held at the Bamboo Training Center (BTC) from 29 to 31 July.

Dr. Amy Lizbeth J. Every grain, every blossom, every fruit is nourished not only by fair weather and fertile soil but also by the frail yet determined hands of those who labor tirelessly.

The nation is grateful for our farm workers, who feed millions by sacrificing their strength, dedicating their time, all in the name of service and sustenance.

A grateful nation stands united in honoring you not only for today but for generations to come.
