𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community marks another week with a simultaneous flag-raising ceremony, held in various areas of the University on 9 December.

Bringing together officials, faculty members from the College of Business and Management (CBM), non-teaching personnel, and CBM students, the event opens the week with a collective display of solidarity and patriotism in front of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) - Library Building. Representatives from different offices and units lead the singing of the National Anthem and pledges.

Meanwhile, the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) conducts the ceremony with participants from the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and the College of Engineering and Technology (CET).

The College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) also holds its own program, bringing together faculty members, staff, and students as they participate in the weekly observance and share important updates from the college.

The College of Education (CEd) likewise leads its ceremony with its academic community, emphasizing the value of discipline, service, and collective responsibility as the University begins another productive week.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) receives a certificate of recognition for its significant contribution as a valued partner in fostering excellence and supporting innovative, future-ready initiatives for the public sector, given by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) during the DAP’s 52nd Founding Anniversary at the DAP Building in Pasig City, on 5 December.

Represented by Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance (VPPQA) and Dr. Eugene S. Valeriano, Director of Planning and Development Office (PDO), TAU acknowledges DAP’s appreciation and pledges to continue its commitment to promoting positive change and supporting impactful government initiatives.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) represented by its President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, participates in the Knowledge Exchange Forum on the Localization of the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) of the Philippines 2023–2050 at the GT–Toyota Asian Center Auditorium in UP Diliman, Quezon City, today, 9 December.

Organized by the Climate Change Commission (CCC) in partnership with the Office of Senator Loren B. Legarda, State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) from across the country gather for a discussion on localized climate action as part of the CCC’s observance of the 18th Global Warming and Climate Change Consciousness Week.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) through the College of Education (CEd) led by its Dean, Dr. Claire Anne A. Olivares, holds a pre-deployment orientation seminar for its practice teachers on 9 December, at the Student and Alumni Center - Amphitheater.

The seminar includes work ethics during internships, Safe Spaces Act, and mental well-being in the workplace led by TAU speakers Mr. Johnny A. Parel Jr., Guidance Counselor III; Ms. Faith G. Santos, Gender and Development (GAD) coordinator and CEd faculty member; and Ms. Venus P. Benitez, faculty member from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).

The said event aims to prepare future educators for their upcoming internships and provide them with essential training on professional conduct, legal protections, and personal well-being before they are deployed to their teaching assignments.
