Classes in the whole Tarlac Province are canceled tomorrow, 24 October, per Executive Order 24, s. 2024, signed by Governor Susan A. Yap today, 23 October. This is in response to reports made by the country’s weather bureau that Tropical Cyclone “Kristine” (Trami) will bring moderate to heavy rains and gusty winds, affecting most of Luzon.

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), anchored on its mission of safeguarding its employees' and students' health, safety, and well-being, joins the nation in observing National Mental Health Awareness Month.

Hence, 30-31 October 2024, are hereby declared wellness break days for all TAU faculty, non-teaching personnel, and students, as supported by CSC MC No. 04, s. 2020 and No. 06, s. 2022. As such, no academic activities or submissions will be scheduled during aforementioned dates.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Brgy. officials from Sta. Maria, Camiling, Tarlac pay a courtesy visit to Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, 28 October, to discuss the ongoing road improvement project and its effects on mobility in and out of the University premises.
 
The dialogue primarily aims to address concerns about traffic congestion and the safety of commuters, particularly for public and private vehicles entering and exiting TAU, given that some parts of the University are situated within the said locality.

In line with the asynchronous classes, the weekly simultaneous flag hoisting has been temporarily cancelled, gathering only the academic and non-teaching staff and officials at the LRC. In his message, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU president, reminds everyone to stay vigilant in times of calamities, taking into account the aftermath of Typhoon Kristine which caused class cancellations last week.

Due to an ongoing road improvement project in Brgy. Sta. Maria, tricycles and private vehicles transporting passengers from the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) are temporarily restricted from leaving the University campus via the back gate (near Integrated Science Laboratory) and take an exit through Brgy. Sta. Maria crossing. Instead, they are advised to turn to the road fronting College of Education (CEd), College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Medical-Dental Clinic all the way to Student and Alumni Center, Continuing Education Center, Records Management Office, and exit lane through Agribusiness Center or the route beside TAU Administration Bldg.

In line with its relentless efforts and steadfast commitment to providing the highest standards of education as well as its continuous pursuit of improved systems and services, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), specifically its College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and College of Business and Management (CBM), underwent a Preliminary Survey Visit Online Program Accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (BS DevCom) and Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) programs, respectively, by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) on 14-18 October via Zoom Meeting platform.
