The 𝟖𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 begins with a spirit of gratitude and renewal! 

TAUians and guests gather for an Ecumenical Thanksgiving Mass, followed by the Blessing and Dedication of new facilities and vehicles, and the historic launch of the Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management (IPTBM) office marker. The energy then shifts to the grand opening of the Agri-Trade Fair, where participants celebrate the TAU community’s innovation and abundance. It is a powerful first day marked by a shared commitment to honoring the University’s legacy while boldly launching its future.

The anniversary celebration continues to gain momentum today, 16 December. The Agri-Trade Fair and Harvest Festival are in full swing, alive with activity and proudly showcasing TAU’s agricultural tradition. At the heart of the day is TulongTAU, a gift-giving initiative for selected Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities, reflecting the University’s commitment to inclusive and shared growth. All the excitement culminates in Ragsakan 2025, a colorful and joyful celebration of youth creativity and solidarity through music, dance, and fellowship.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) extends its service through gift-giving to Indigenous People (IP) communities and to persons deprived of liberty, from 15-16 December.

As part of its 80th founding anniversary celebration, TAU continues to roll out activities that go beyond campus, translating its legacy into actions that uplift communities and reinforce its mission of service, compassion and nation-building.

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) recognized the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) for its outstanding participation during the 5th KALASAG (Kalamidad at Sakuna Labanan, Sariling Galing ang Kaligtasan) Response and Rescue Challenge and awarded a certificate of appreciation during the culmination activity held at the Bulwagan ng Kalayaan Multi-Purpose Building, Victoria, Tarlac, on 12 December.

The 5th KALASAG Challenge is a set of various rigorous simulation exercises designed to test and enhance the emergency response capabilities of participants in WASAR (Water Search and Rescue) Operations, MOSAR (Mountain Search and Rescue) Operations, Mass Casualty Incident, and Fire Incident Command System.

The event, which was held at the Jose V. Yap (JVY) Sports and Recreational Complex on 11 December, also included other rescue units and Local Government Units (LGU) in Tarlac to strengthen the Incident Command System competencies within the province.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) through the TAU - Bulalayaw, hosted a Barbecue Party, an inclusive campus gathering that highlighted inclusivity among genders, on Monday, 15 December, in front of the Learning Resource Center - Library Building.

The student-led organization brought together students, faculty members, and non-teaching personnel in a shared space that promoted authenticity, respect, and belonging. The barbecue gathering combined food, music, and interactive activities aimed at fostering connection within the university community.

Dubbed as BBQueer, the event emphasized collective resilience and the importance of creating affirming spaces where individuals were encouraged to express themselves freely while engaging in meaningful social interaction.

“I am truly moved by how the TAU community showed up for our event. As part of the Inclusion Unit, I witnessed Panagduduma bring the TAU community together around food, music, and fire—an evening of shared stories that honored our cultural diversity as part of the University’s 80th Founding Anniversary,” said Ms. Erika R. Prado, Chief of the Inclusion Unit and Supreme Student Council (SSC) adviser.
