To evaluate Tarlac Agricultural Universityโ€™s (TAU) 2024 achievements and provide strategic recommendations, the members of the TAU Board of Regents (BOR) convened for the Annual Performance Review at the SMX Convention Center Clark, Pampanga, on 21 February.
 
Said activity was bolstered by insights from a distinguished panel of evaluators, including Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, newly appointed Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Chairperson of the TAU BOR, who emphasized Universityโ€™s need for alignment with national and international educational standards.
 
The Commissioner praised the Universityโ€™s collaborative approach. Reflecting on his participation, he stated in a Facebook post, โ€œIt was an insightful day filled with presentations on accomplishments, gender integration, innovation, and quality assurance. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute and collaborate with fellow experts to help shape the future of our institution.โ€ His remarks demonstrated TAUโ€™s commitment to inclusive governance and innovation.

Due to intense heat and unstable weather, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) administration approves the Supreme Student Councilโ€™s (SSC) request to lift the mandatory wearing of school uniform. However, students are still advised to dress properly and follow protocols in line with the University dress code policy.
 
In addition, faculty and non-teaching staff are urged to wear smart-casual attire in line with the Civil Service Commission (CSC)-issued Memorandum Circular No. 16 s. of 2024 or the Revised Dress Code for Government Officials and Employees. Wearing of Filipiniana and ASEAN inspired clothes are temporarily suspended.
