Guided by the visionary leadership of the Vice-President for Finance and Administration, Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, the activity served as a comprehensive platform to assess accomplishments, evaluate operational efficiency, align financial and administrative initiatives with the Universityโ€™s institutional goals and development thrusts.

The event formally commenced with a message of welcome and inspiration from the University President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, who warmly greeted the officials and personnel from the various offices under Finance and Administration. In his address, Dr. Salunson commended the collective efforts, dedication, and integrity demonstrated by the administrative and finance staff in ensuring the smooth operations of the University. He likewise acknowledged the invaluable presence and expertise of the external evaluators from the Department of Budget and Management โ€“ Regional Field Office III (DBM-RFO III), namely Ms. Thelma Abegail A. Macalino, Ms. Katrina M. Yalung, and Ms. Alexis M. Gutierrez, whose insights further strengthened the review process.

The morning session featured the presentation of Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, Chief Administrative Officer for Administration, who comprehensively discussed the accomplishments, updates, operational concerns, and corresponding interventions under the Universityโ€™s Administrative Services. Her presentation highlighted process improvements, policy enhancements, and service delivery mechanisms aimed at reinforcing institutional efficiency. Subsequently, Mr. Dante A. Revamonte, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance, provided a detailed report on the Universityโ€™s financial status, budget utilization, fiscal management strategies, and other key financial matters, reaffirming TAUโ€™s commitment to prudent and transparent financial stewardship.

In the afternoon, Engr. Benjie M. Dela Vega, Director of General Services, presented the officeโ€™s initiatives in managing university facilities, ensuring proper housekeeping, implementing ecological waste management practices, and overseeing motorpool services, efforts that contribute significantly to maintaining a safe, sustainable, and conducive learning environment. Meanwhile, Dr. Jay-ar A. De Mayo, Director of Business and Auxiliary Services, outlined the Universityโ€™s income-generating projects and auxiliary services, emphasizing innovation, sustainability, and strategic expansion to support TAUโ€™s long-term financial viability.

The presenters and distinguished external evaluators were formally welcomed, and the objectives of the presentation were clearly laid down by the University President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, through video conferencing, underscores the Universityโ€™s unified direction toward innovation, impact, and inclusive growth. The activity was attended by the University Officials, including Vice-President for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice-President for Finance and Administration;ย  Dr. Arnold R. The Department of Extension and Training, led by Director Dr. Agnes C. In the afternoon session, the Office of Research and Development presented its accomplishments, highlighting innovations, completed studies, and continuing initiatives that advance agricultural and scientific knowledge by Dr. Maria Elena T. Caguioa. The Rootcrops Research and Training Center reported its key achievements through Mr. Carlo Magno L. Sagun, emphasizing impactful research outputs and training engagements that benefit farmers, partner agencies, and the broader community.

With unity and excellence at the forefront, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Carabaos made a strong opening statement in the ongoing SCUAA Region III Regional Meet, hosted by the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST). As the regional meet officially commenced on 21 February 2026, TAU proudly secured its first bronze medal in the Menโ€™s Single Table Tennis category through the remarkable performance of Mr. Aries Dave F. Combis, a 1st year student from the College of Agriculture and Forestry.

Demonstrating grit, focus, and competitive composure against the regionโ€™s top paddlers, Mr. Combis delivered a podium finish that brought honor to the Green and Gold. His achievement not only highlights his athletic potential but also reflects the unwavering support system behind every TAU athlete.

Beyond the competition arena, the TAU delegation also conducted a Solidarity Meeting on the first day of the regional meet. The gathering served as a moment of unity, encouragement, and collective commitment among coaches, athletes, and officialsย  reinforcing the values of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and the true Carabao spirit as they represented the University on the regional stage.

To equip Senior High School (SHS) students with essential workplace ethics, mental health strategies, and awareness of the Safe Spaces Act as they prepare for their upcoming work immersion, the Tarlac Agricultural Universityโ€™s (TAU) Student Placement Office (SPO) and Laboratory School (LS) conduct a Pre-Deployment Orientation Seminar (PDOS) on 20 February at the TAU Agritourism Hostel Function Hall.

The College of Agriculture and Forestry (โ€‹CAF) Week 2026 reached new heights of excitement and unity as Day 3 unfolded with a perfect blend of energy, color, and elegance. Students, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate not only competition, but also camaraderie and creativity through the much-awaited Color Fun Run, the prestigious Mr. and Ms. CAF pageant, and Socialization Night.

The day began with participants splashing the campus with vibrant hues during the Color Fun Run, symbolizing unity, enthusiasm, and school spirit. Laughter echoed across the grounds as students ran side by side, proving that beyond rivalry lies friendship and shared joy.

This was followed by the Mr. and Ms. CAF competition, which highlighted confidence, intelligence, and charisma, showcasing the true pride of the college. As the sun set, the celebration transformed into an evening of connection and fellowship during the Socialization Night, where organizations bonded, strengthened friendships, and created lasting memories.

The event also became a moment of recognition as students and organizations who triumphed in the Booth Competition and Sports Festival were formally awarded for their outstanding performances and teamwork.
