𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 | 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬: 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) through the initiative of the Chief Administrative Office for Administration (CAO-Admin) and Chief Administrative Office for Finance (CAO-Finance) conducted a capacity-building program for University Officials and head of offices titled “Training and Orientation on the Use of Strategic Procurement Planning,” held at the AgriTourism Hostel and Function Hall on 27 January.

Co-facilitated by the Human Resource and Management Office (HRMO), the training consisted of learning discussion about the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA No. 12009 otherwise known as “The New Government Procurement Act” to ensure institutional readiness in implementing the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA) requirements.

𝐈𝐍𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐀 | 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐬 

In the world of children, life is a series of blank pages waiting for the beautiful but sometimes chaotic collision of crayons and imagination. To the untrained eye, it is just play; to Dr. Jerahmeel R. Aquino, it is the making of an architect, a painter, or a designer.

A proud graduate of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), Dr. Aquino understands that before a child can sculpt a form, they must learn to mold the clay. His own foundation was poured in the classrooms of the College of Education (CEd), where he earned his Bachelor of Elementary Education major in PreSchool Education (BEEd-PSEd) in 2014. 

Much like learning the ABCs, his journey began with fundamental steps: first as a Grade One teacher at Cleverkids School, Inc. in Villasis, Pangasinan and then transitioned to the public school system as a Kindergarten Teacher at Santo Domingo Elementary School from 2015 to 2020.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | TAU strengthens Partnership for Agar Wood Propagation, receives Seedlings 

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) continues to advance its commitment to sustainable agroforestry development through a ceremonial signing of partnership with the Open Paradigm Center–CMC, Incorporated, recently held at the University, on 20 January 2026. 

The agreement was formally signed by TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson and Mr. Apolinario M. De Leon, Jr., Head of the partner corporation, signifying collaborative initiatives for environmental stewardship and livelihood development.

As a manifestation of the strong partnership, the Open Paradigm Center also awarded 50 Agar Wood seedlings to TAU. These seedlings will serve as mother plants and will be planted at Titi-Calao, the University’s forest reserve, to support future propagation efforts.

We proudly congratulate the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) students of Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) College of Engineering and Technology (CET) for their spirited participation and impressive achievements at PABESTIGAN XII, held at University of the Philippines Los Baños from 23-25 January. 

A special salute goes to Maume P. Ariola (BSABE-4) for securing the 2nd Runner-up spot in the Agricultural Machine Parts Identification, and the entire CET delegation for being crowned the Champions of the Cheer Category, truly showcasing the unbeatable spirit of TAU.
